For show operation, you may want to operate lights from a network connected tablet (wired or wireless). The FSPortal Remote Client (right) exposes a simplified user interface (UI) for users who are not trained on FreeStyler.
All the controls are touch enabled. You just need to adjust their size to your finger preference. The User Interface sizing controls let you resize the app for optimal screen use on any size tablet display. These resizing controls apply to the main program screen only. Resizing is intened for show operation only (not editing sessions) using a network connected tablet. The edit dialogs remain sized at the Windows default sizes.
Figure 1 shows the app base size using default fonts and no scaling on UI controls. This is intended for editing sessions with mouse and keyboard operation.
Set the Fonts in the Options dialog.
The Menu font sets the font size for the menus across the top of the app.
The Controls font sets the font size for the text related controls of the app (text boxes, labels, etc).
Set the Scale Factor for Controls in the Options dialog. It will resize controls like buttons based on the scale you set. Find a Scale Factor that is a comfortable size for your finger touch.
Figure 2, shows the app window with these size options: Controls Font at Arial 24pt font; Controls/Buttons Scale = 1.7; Listboxes Width Scale = 1.7; Listboxes Height Scale = 1.4 .
