Question: Do I need Sound Mill and Video Mill if I only want to use FS Portal to control DMX lights?

Answer: No. FS Portal can operate as a remote client on a laptop or tablet computer, network connected to the computer that has the DMX lights attached.

Question: I can't get DMX lights fades to work. What should I check?

Answer: IMPORTANT! - For this integration to work properly, you must start FreeStyler and leave it open on its main window. DO NOT open any of the sub windows or edit panels in FreeStyler. If you do, FreeStyler will override commands it receives from IPC and operations like Fades will not work properly.
